Soft capsules represent the optimal form for oils and suspensions
Soft capsules made of gelatine (soft gelatine capsule) or vegan raw materials optimally enclose liquid or oily formulations. Omega-3 (vegan omega-3 algae oil or high-quality marine omega-3 from the Epax brand) is often administered in this way. But also for royal jelly, isoflavone and numerous oils, such as evening primrose oil, black cumin oil or borage oil, the soft capsule is the perfect galenic. Capsules filled with a so-called suspension, a mixture of powdery and oily raw material components, which are combined in the capsule, are also feasible. Optimally protected against oxidation from external influences, the food supplement thus finds its safe way into the stomach. There it dissolves quickly or slowly depending on the desired onset of action (controllable absorption). At Goerlich Pharma, we are happy to provide your soft capsule with a gastro-resistant coating.
For the end consumer, the soft capsule offers numerous advantages. The smooth surface helps to make the capsules easy to swallow. The choice of shapes and colours make it easy to distinguish them from other capsules.

NEW: Titanium dioxide free capsules
We are prepared. EU to ban the use of Titanium Dioxide (E171) in 2021. We already offer a selection of TiO2-free soft capsules in different colours. Our basic formulations are usually available in TiO2-free versions from stock. Please contact us!

All capsules described in the following are based on optimised standard formulations. These standard capsules are either in stock or can be produced on short notice. They are available in flexible quantities. Minimum order quantity for basic formulations which are on stock is one unit under consideration of minimum order value.
