Oil from the sea buckthorn fruit provides omega-7 (palmitoleic acid) and secondary plant metabolites and can have a positive effect on the vaginal mucous membrane. Gamma-linolenic acid, here from evening primrose oil, and vitamin E can counteract hot flashes. The decrease in the hormone estrogen during menopause can promote the development of osteoporosis. The “bone vitamins” D and K can help to maintain healthy bones.
