Company history

During a several-year work stay in the USA in the early 1980s, Franz Görlich became aware of special oils in food supplements. He was particularly interested in high-quality omega-3 fish oils. Already a hype in the USA, but still virtually unknown in Germany and Europe. As a courageous young man, Franz Görlich took the business idea back to Germany and founded the Görlich trading company in their living room in 1984 together with his wife Carmen.

Demand is constantly growing and so is the company. After years of company growth, the company moved to its first company building in Edling, in the Munich metropolitan region, in 1996. In 2013, a newly built factory built to the latest standards was put into operation, marking a milestone in the company's history.

Today we develop and produce high-quality food supplements and deliver to over 50 countries worldwide. What was once a small start-up has grown into a company with around 150 employees.
